It seems I have always enjoyed an appreciation for the world of art. When I am observing objects, scenes, etc., I find I always notice the finer details. I can not look at something and not notice this and it is reflected in the majority of my work.
I began to pursue painting in depth, in my early 20s. I do work in multiple mediums…..oil, water color, acrylic, and pencil. I also work with a wide range of subject matter. I just can’t say that I have a favorite medium or subject matter. I just can’t pick one subject to specialize in as I have painted wildlife, landscapes, portraits, cottages…..just can’t pick one area to concentrate on. There is just too much beauty in all of these to pass up.
Working in/with the fine arts is a very rewarding, fulfilling, and calming experience. This is something I will pursue all of my life.
